The news aside, the lack of dark mode when reading the comments in addition to the copious amount of ads every 3-4 short paragraphs that are videos/animations make the reading experience very impractical. Human eyes are drawn to movement, it makes it too distracting to focus on the article. I usually position the text/skip ads so I can focus on the articles. If I see someone advertising here, distracting the audience for profit I am 100% not going to buy their product/service.

The post has gotten rid of its sports section which is primarily why I was subscribed forever ago. They don't really even cover the local teams anymore anyway. The reporting has gone down hill for a while now and it's just not great anymore.

Deleting app. Bezos has destroyed the Post. My 2 favorite sections were Sports and Metro. I grew up reading this paper, I can't believe its gone
