So I've played this game for about a month now, it's had it's ups and downs. The upside things is that the art, the macabre theme, and the tower designs are all very cool. The grid tower placement and designing our paths around the objects also adds to the uniqueness of the game. The big downside is the difficulty. It started as an easy game for about 20 levels. Then, as it balanced on difficulty for about 10 levels, it then got ridiculously hard after level 30, and can't get further

Has me hooked as one of the best tower defence games I've played. A great mix of towers, gear, pets, and characters to vary up how you approach any level. I would like to see load-outs in the future to make build switching a little more convenient. The price of removing ads is good. You can pay for a boost in various ways but the gameplay imo hasn't been sacrificed for those systems. You can get great towers, gear, etc in a in just a bit of play and overcome challenges with experimentation.

The game is great, but not the monetization. If you like tower defence &/or RPGs, you will enjoy the game. You don't just build towers, but you also control a character. However, after about the 20th stage and 10th special stage there's a difficulty spike. A more advanced game that you buy and play without microtransaction would cost 10-15$. Here removing ads is over 8€ and speed up function 5€. But that's far from enough to advance. If these 2 together were 8€, I'd consider it.
