Great game that teaches Mahjong in a fun way. The tiles have suits that are like clubs, diamonds, and spades, but instead they're bamboo, circles, and numbers. Each having a 1 through 9 tile for the three sets. Your goal is to make all tiles in your hand into sets just like in Rummy. If you like Rummy, you'll like this game. Just make sure you go in the settings in preferences go to the bottom and select the tile sets with the numbers we use in the USA in the top right corner in red.

It's a great way to play riichi mahjong, but this app really needs a "plain" or "safe for work" mode so that people with family (kids or otherwise) or in public can play without risking displaying Mahjong Soul's pervy side. Perhaps they should support a different app which has a more "professional" aesthetic but takes advantage of the core back-end, network, and community; I'd pay for it if I could just keep my profile and stats, but use such a "pro" mode when I don't need the extra stuff.

I like the game and the characters. Needs more Haruna, Yuzu, Momo and Eliisa. some issues: People are not studying the rules properly in the lower-mid rank rooms. calling every tile possible and ending with no yaku or very cheap hands. There's a huge number of suspicious accounts with low playing time, and who somehow scored a bunch of yakuman. So basically it needs a better way to teach beginners. It needs to clarify that it's riichi mahjong and not other variations. And eliminate cheaters.
