Recently this app will not open to the stories for which I get notifications. It goes to the main menu. I don't want to then have to search for the story. This was a dumb update. Also, app will not close anymore with back button. Must force close. Not putting me into the requested story and then making me force close has started the habit of looking at other news sources first. These are not great updates, CNN. Get it together.

Reached my monthly free article limit on the first thing I've clicked on June 1st? This is complete BS. And even more ridiculous to charge those of us with cable subscriptions that include the CNN channel, the app literally shows my cable provider in the settings. Plus, I have a Max subscription too. Either of those should get unlimited access to this app but CNN decided greed was the way. Never paying individually for this app. This will surely go as swimmingly as CNN Plus did.

They artificially manipulate their clickrate for ads, by making it so that any touch immediately opens them - even if it's just the long-press of swiping up and down the feed to scroll up/down. These ads are placed in positions, where in order to scroll down the page, it's almost impossible to avoid touching them. Since most of these ads are for Amazon, I wonder if they also install referral links in your Amazon cookies, to profit of your unrelated purchases.
