There are some microtransactions, but not anywhere near the typical mobile games where it purposely halts your progress until you pay up. I've been playing for 4 months and quite enjoy it, the only purchase I've made was to remove the ads (which are not intrusive) and get the rewards without having to watch ads. The game is pretty generous and gives you lots of Diamonds (premium currency) every day + doing daily/weekly etc challenges. Not even once I felt like I have to buy more to progress.

Initial server hiccup aside, the game is pretty good. I wouldn't call it unique as it has similar vibes to Blade Idle. Still an enjoyable game none the less. Progression is paced as you'd expect for an idle game (quick for a while then a bit of a grind). Pay to progress is very present but not necessary as you get plenty of gems and other currencies from just playing. All in all, I like the game and am looking forward to seeing what the future holds for it.

Pretty standard idle game with good potential. Still having connectivity issues. More than 50% of the time, it will crash after watching an ad, which makes it not worth it. $12 for no ads? Puh-lease. And sometimes idle time is not registered, which halts progress in an already grindy game. Stun is dumb and stun resist costs WAY too much, and it's locked behind a once a week dungeon. Seriously? Also, some things aren't explained. Could be great but these issues drop it down to middle of the pack.
